Favourite Mini-Getaway for 2018

Wouldn’t it be nice if in 2018 we could go on a big adventure every few months, experience different cultures and enjoy the art of travel? Unfortunately, that’s not the reality most of us live in, but it’s still important to get away from our everyday surroundings from time to time. I personally love long weekend trips, that will leave me refreshed and excited.

This summer I experienced another The Luxury Collection Hotel: The Hotel des Indes in The Hague and I’ll tell you why you should book a ticket to this dreamy locale for 2018. To be honest, I didn’t really have The Hague on my travel radar and you probably don’t either. But if you fancy a relaxed, yet culturally packed destination with friendly people and a beach, The Hague is for you. The “Hotel des Indes” is nestled in the heart of the city, many offerings like museums, bars and restaurants are easily accessible. It has a tradition of welcoming guests from all over the world, for almost 140 years, including celebrities and royalty and even if you’re not one of them, why don’t you make yourself feel like one and treat yourself to a formal French lunch or dinner in the luxurious Restaurant Des Indes or a splendid High Tea in the the Des Indes Lounge. You can also pamper yourself like a queen in the beautiful Prestige Beauty spa. If you’d like to feel more bohemian, you can walk along the canals, visit one of the many museums, or take a bike ride to the beach.
